Of the many fence options available, home owners often choose picket fencing. Not only is a picket fence great for keeping in small children and pets, but it also looks nice around your yard. While white is the most common color selected for picket fences, they can be painted any color you want. According to Torrance, California fence contractors, if you opt for a wooden fence it will need to be sealed and repainted every couple of years. However, if you go with vinyl, the color will last despite the weather, and it won’t need sealing either. The only downside to vinyl, however, is that it doesn’t look as natural as wood and Torrance fence companies charge more for it.
